Following Zebbo's example I will be having Genesis box set 1970-1975. The only problem being should a female companion be swept up there's nothing of shall we say a "romantic" nature within .

Can't answer this because what I like best about music is the sheer variety of it . (You may say this is a cop out, but whatever I chose, I'd get bored of).

Gotta agree with TB on this, I don't think that there could be a single piece of music that could stand up to being the one and only.
However in the spirit of the game I'd probably go with Miles Davis "Bitches Brew". Sophisticated, complex, satisfying and very lo..oo..oo..ong.

I think that it would have to be the Rollng Stones, Exile on main street.
It's a double album and has kept me happy for forty years, so I think it will continue to do so for some time to come.

Abolutely, I got in from work the other day and the only disc that was going to hit the spot was Prince - Purple Rain, how far from Nat King Cole could you get?
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC, Parasound JC3+, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)

Interesting. I've not heard Pletnev's Mozart.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Mozart Piano Concertos # 20 and 23 Deutsch Kammerphilharmonic - Mikhail Pletnev - Virgin Classics
Reason is self explanatory if you have a soul.
I've just ordered 2 CDs of his 9, 20, 23 & 24 Piano concerti.
I'll send you the bill if it's no good, Doc.

Just looked at Wiki, it seems he is a (alleged) pedophile living in Thailand now. Well according to all the rumours so was Tchaikovsky, human nature is weird, creates brilliance along with perversion.jandl100 wrote:Interesting.
